There are on-going discussions about STOL aircraft that conflate STOL aircraft with aircraft used for bush flying. While there can be some overlap, STOL and bush are two different things. As an example, my friend (RIP) who successfully operated an Alaska bush flying operation for many years, with aircraft ranging from Super Cubs to Beavers to Twin Otters, said that his best money maker in his fleet of airplanes was the C206.
