    Hello there

What can be said regarding this bird?

What I know is the following, that it was hopelessly underpowered in the beginning.

But was is known of the flight characteristics with the higher powered versions?

It was very very very light weight. I think Ray Stits was not a large heavy pilot. Although it was probably very well designed and engineered, it was built as a bare minimum demonstration aircraft, and not suitable for rough service.

I believe that HBA member BMCJ may know a lot more about this aircraft, because he spent part of his life around that airport and those people involved with the Skeeto.
