I just though that with all the RV builders out there that someone might be able to tell me how to treat a spar that will be sandwiched or laminated to prevent future corrosion.

I keep hearing about certified aircraft that have AD's that involve an X-Ray of the spar and I would like to avoid this situation.

This is a plane that will be used in a salt air environment its entire life.

Any input would be appreciated.
