# Source for AN Fork Bolts?

Thanks for the suggestions. Even if Air-Tech can get the length I need, all combined they will be over $250. I think I am going to go with Don's aluminum hinges. Seems like a good design, easy to make, and allows for 2 bolts per hinge. They will also cost about$200 less.

Have you looked at RV style hinges? Cheap, effective. Certainly not as compact.

Air-Tech will not sell the fork bolts that they have listed on their site.
The lady that I spoke with told me they use those fork bolts for the aircraft kits that they sell and can't get replacements once they're gone....therefore,they're not for sale.

I'm still a bit confused as to why Air-Tech advertises an item for sale that they won't sell........???!!!

You have several options. Look at the hinges on the aero lite 103 or the drifter aircraft. Those are produced by Lockwood aviation. A small formed u bracket with a concave pressed into the base.
