I am pleased to see that the OP Wing tips extensions include the BSLD concept. That helps a lot. With reference to the trailing edge extension, we have found that the best results have the trailing edge swept aft as in the “Kasper Wing”.

I'm sorry, I'm not seeing the connection between post #3 (quoted below) and raked tips and helping prevent accidents such as Jeremy Monnet's. What am I missing here, jedi?

I have seen that reversed Wittman tip on several RV airplanes.
Hearsay is they work as well as the those on the Tailwind/Buttercup airplanes.
There is a Tailwind group in Switzerland that are adding winglets to theirs for more benefit. Looks like a shark fin.
No first hand knowledge from me.

Monnet's airplane ran into a row of military vehicles where it appears he could have landed between the rows. There is no video of the crash but I believe there was a loss of control issue after the engine failure that caused the fatalities. I included a link to the official report in post #12 (of this blog) so you can make you own conclusions.
