    One has AC output. You have to have AC for aluminum. Be careful of econo machines. The outputs are not usually clean and the duty cycle is usually very low. Buy the biggest, nicest machine you can afford. I promise, once you get it, you always wish you had got the next size larger...:)

    a drill press, some assorted hole saws and a good tubing vise can be quite efective.

    Also half round files with the radius the same for each size of tubing for the final touch up.
