I want to practice O/A welding 4130 tube for awhile before getting into TIG. I already have everything to Gas weld except the gas itself (purchased Tinmantech's 4130 kit #3) . I went to my local Airgas store to buy or rent O/A cylinders and was advised by the salesman that since I just wanted to practice for awhile it would be best if I went over to the local Harbor Freight store and just purchase their small 20cf Oxy and 10cf Acet. cylinders and then just have Airgas fill them as needed. My question is, are those cylinders too small? They look like it. He said most guys purchase the 50cf Oxy and 30cf Acet. sized cylinders but since I just want to practice the smaller sized cylinders would do fine, is that reasonable?
