If you have an engine + propellor on a simple trolley is there a simple rig that can be built/used to measure generated thrust?

A scale that you can attach to a rope, and the other end to a tree or other form of anchor. A game scale is not uncommon for smaller engines when absolute accuracy is not needed. I'm sure more accurate hanging scales exist.

Will have to hunt around for the right scales as looking at somewhere around 1500lbs of thrust
