I am happy to report that after a lot of looking around i have finally bought a Kitfox III ! This was actually one hell of a task considering I am still deployed but after several calls at weird hours of the night and getting a buddy to go inspect and test fly it I have made a deal. So now I have a new toy to play with when I get home, lets just hope I don't have a flashback and start circling "caches" while giving rides to civilian friends :gig:

Here is the question I have though. When it was built I guess the tanks are supposed to be somewhat translucent in a few areas in order to act as a fuel gauge. My buddy said it is not very effective and the guy selling said he has been timing his tanks as a fuel indicator and just assuming a high burn rate. I fully intend to remedy this and I am wondering if anyone has a good suggestion. The tanks are in the wing roots and must be relatively accessible, if only on the inner surface. What would be the easiest method/parts to use to install some sight glasses for fuel indication? Thanks for the help guys.

James
