Hi,

Think of a single spar wing where this spar is located at almost AC, 25% of the MAC,

Your assumption is, the skin takes no stresses from bending of the wing but only resist pressure bending and torsional shear stresses ,

Now, when its time to check the torsional divergence, should you treat this wing as a box or as a single spar beam where the shear center is located at the spar center,

Just a design philosophy question,

Greetings,
