Has anyone tried to convert one of the newer ski-doo snowmobile, semi-direct or direct injected engines? Engines such as the Rotax 600 HO 2-TEC (about 115 HP) & the Rotax 800 2-TEK SDI engine (over 150 HP). They switched to direct injection around 2009.
This technology makes a two-stroke engine burn so cleanly that its emissions ratings are cleaner than some four-strokes, & get about the same economy.
