Popped up online the other day. Watch for the Dyn-Aero on final @ 1:50. Returns to field due to an unintentionally open canopy. Looks like they come up short in the long grass or brush, then unicycle on the nose gear.



Looks like only pride is injured (I hope.) Hooray for the slow speeds of light aircraft.

Now comes the what-went-wrong? phase.

Distracted by open canopy. Miss their mark? Canopy drag increase sink rate?
