I've already researched props for my particular application and have decided on a Warp Drive.
After talking with guys running the prop I was very interested about their claims of its durability & quality.
After talking with Darryl at Warp Drive about info & numbers.....I was sold.

93 & 94 cases are provision 8......
However,the crank needs to be machined to match the taper of the gearbox and the case holes need to be worked a little to accept the gearbox bolts.

Are these also the ones with 2 magnetic triggers on the fly wheel for use with the Ducati dual ignition?

I'm not sure about the flywheel magnetic triggers.
I know there was something about that specific case design that allowed the use of the dual Ducati ignition where the other cases won't.
Google that question or call Rotax Rick and he can give a definitive answer to that question.

Is the 93/94 stock crank good enough for the 90ish HP?
would the later crank be better ?
anyone know which magneto/ stator is used? 582DCDI?
I’m looking at starting a build , just trying to gather all the info of parts to collect and get set up right the first time around.

Is there a resident Guru that can educate me on the years and parts that are best for the 670 for aircraft use?

Case year
Crank year
Mikuni or Bing?
jet and needle sizes?
Cbox and ratio?

Aftermarket sources such as the crank shop?
sled shops that sell or make better parts?
many and all help is greatly appreciated.

I fly a gyro using the 'Rotax Rick' Rotax 670 with a E gearbox. It's a 93/94 model. These two years were special for the crank shaft to use the duel Ducati ignition (using the Rotax 583 magneto). The later models only work for a single ignition system. I use the Bing carbs which work fine enough for me.

All the answers you seek .....are within Rotax Rick's brain.....call him.
Save yourself a lot of time from having to figure out what is good info & bad info by calling Rick.
Rick will fry your brain with all the info he lays on you.....have a pencil & paper at hand when you call him.
He will help you whether he builds your engine or you build it yourself......so call him.
Have I mentioned to call Rotax Rick ???

But if you want to spend month after month trying to figure things out,like I did before I made the call, from all the mis-information you're going to find on the net..........then don't call.
