Ok,
i'm most likely going to be putting a Rotax 583 out of a snow mobile in my BD-5 since that is the most cost effective and what i have seen as a good setup for the airplane.

Question is, all the ones i've seen have pull start and a "lighting coil".

I need an Electric start and a 12volt alternator setup for the -5.

Is it just a matter of purchasing parts from rotax for a electric start conversion for a 582 and for a 12volt alternator setup, or do i need to get parts specific to the 583?

anyone know?
