I was reading a few threads and heard mention of rotary engines for planes. The idea is great and I am wondering if anyone has good info or first hand experience with any. I would like to know where they fit into 2 strokes vs specially designed 4 strokes (like Rotax) vs auto conversions for reliability, cost to overhaul, time to overhaul, fuel burn, aggravation of installing, and any other worthwhile stats you might have. Thanks for the help.
