Need advice on best practices for:

1) Polishing old aluminum skins (1946 Luscombe 8A rudder)
-Best polishing compound with aircraft grade chemical compatibility?

-Best mechanical polisher and head matrix (rag)?

2) Removing paint from old aluminum skins?
