Hi Folks,
I'm interested in 2x FC redundancy.
I bought 1 x Pixhawk 4 (PX4) already.
The recommended method is to precede it with a Raspberry 4 (R4) companion computer:
Also I'd like a specialized joystick (JS) style flight-stick.
..
OPTION 1:
JS --> R4 --> PX4 : -where R4 is the backup FC (pros: crash avoidance R4; cons: increased latency in response )
..
OPTION 2:
JS --> R4 --> PX4 1
--> PX4 2 : -where dual Pixhawk 4 are for redundancy, while R4 control switching
(pros: PX4 backup faster control response time maintained, while crash avoidance R4)

Pros in both options: JS control is made possible through R4
Cons in both options: If R4 fails- all fails; Latency R4
..
OPTION 3:
JS --> PX4 1
--> PX4 2 : - (pros: PX4 faster control response time maintained,
(CONS: No crash/ obstacle avoidance)
(Puzzle: how to connect joystick without R4) .

Your thoughts Pls.
