I am looking for a recovery system,

Most of those systems are ballistic, but I remember on a hangglider they used to have a chute that was to be handthrown. It opened very fast, but throwing was maybe difficult.

The ballistic systems might have a better chance to open, but I understand they open slower, which costs height.

I am looking for the best system for my Nomad which has about the same flight envelope as a hangglider and does weigh about 75 Kilo's.
-I want the chute to open fast as possible.
-It has to be Low weight.
-I don't mind throwing the chute out myself as long as this is possible to do in a reliable way.
-Price should be reasonable
-Checking intervals should be more than 2 years.

I was also thinking why a handchute could not be thrown away from the plane with a loaded spring? has this been done before? seems a reliable way to do, and pretty simple foolproof system.

I Searched the internet and found some info, but the most important things the manufacturers mostly don't mention, I hate that!

So If anyone can give me information or has experience with the handthrown chute I (and my wife) appreciate it very much.
