I'll get right to the point - if one disassembles a flying (or almost flying) plane, then keep records and photos of the rebuild, will it pass muster with the FAA as a "new" E-AB?

I'm trying to find a loophole to convert an existing Part 103 that was never available in a kit form into a legal n-numbered aircraft so I can use the hours flying it in my logbook. What say you? Pipe dream? :)
