I gathered up all this stuff over the last 5 years, intending to get it airworthy and learn to fly it, but wife/kids/ job/ building some wood boats all got in the way of digging into it. Now we’ve moved to a house with a small yard and garage, don’t really have a place or time to work on it (“new” house is 100 years old and if I’m working on plane restoration before house updates my wife’s gonna kill me with pointy things and fire…..). The gentleman I bought it from had it stored in a farm machine shed for many years.

The plane is an early model, 1983 or 84 production. I have the original build documentation, a bunch of supporting docs from the 80’s and 90’s, and also ordered from RANS the documents detailing AD’s since production. It’s equipped with a Rotax 277 and has 53 hours on the Hobbs. Engine appears to have been oiled and stored correctly, it rotates smoothly and has compression. In addition, it includes a fresh 277 and a brand new prop. Also includes a BRS (not installed- I believe it’s a -4 never fired and looks new but out of date- sorry didn’t get a pic of that but can tonight). New tires and a bag of AN hardware are also included, and a new wood prop. I don’t have a punch tester, but the cloth seems strong and not brittle. It’s got a little hanger rash but nothing appears serious.

It’s located in Muskego WI, just off I43 at the Racine Ave exit (about 15 minutes SW of Milwaukee). Feel free to call me with any questions. 262-510-6188. Or email Fred@cgspremier.com. Pardon the blue tint on the pics, the trailer is covered with blue marine shrink wrap so it tints the light blue.

$3500 for plane, trailer, extra 277 & redrive, extra new prop, BRS, new tires and misc AN hardware ordered for the project, all documentation.

NOT SOLD ---- had it on hold for a buyer from Nevada but logistics of getting it home didn't make sense - I'm in WI about 90 minutes south of Oshkosh.

Also had an A&P look at it since I'm a total beginner at airplane stuff. He recommends inspecting and replacing fasteners due to oxidation from storage and inspection of tubing for corrosion at points where hardware was installed. He also noted some repairs to landing gear tubing that should be inspected / replaced if needed. Note- this guy says he is super picky and said lots of ultralight flyers would probably just fly it. Err on the side of caution- come see it yourself.

Slightly more disassembled than shown. Pulled landing gear, gas tank, cowl, stuff like that when investigating transporting it to Nevada. Super easy reassemble but you'll need some small hardware ( A&P tossed it said I should just replace anything that doesn't look new- some of it is included, I had bought a bunch from Wicks or AS for it a few years back.

Pardon the long post- I prefer to disclose what I know so there are no unpleasant surprises for anyone.

So come see it, bring $3500. Take it home. Email or call me for more info. To sicks too. Five won zero. Sicks won ate ate.

The trailer was made to store it, fits great. 2" ball. Tows super easy but i wouldn't take it on the freeway, the covering isn't made for 70mph. You could sheet it with 1/8" hardboard for higher speeds.

I'm super interested in your plane and would like to call you in a few minutes or tomorrow morning. And congratulations on your 8th year anniversary as a member of Home Built Airplanes. I just passed the 8 minute milestone myself. Feels good.
