The radio on my GlasairTD howls when I transmit. It appears to be voltage sensitive.
The charging voltage is 14.5 volts. If it sits awhile with engine off it works fine until the engine is started. I can turn the mic down on the headset with a small screwdriver about 1/2 turn and it will transmit fine. Always receives OK. If I use the headset in my 67 Cherokee I have to turn it back up to transmit. Is this a normal occurance, something I have to live with?
