I recently came to own an 80's Quicksilver MX2. I have a small problem in that the kingpost is so tall that I am unable to store the plane in my hanger that I converted fron an old horse barn. I would like to know if anyone has ever strut braced the wings of this design successfully. From what I can see of the design it would seem like a simple conversion using streamlined aluminum tubing for lift struts and adding jury struts to where the inboard flying wires attach.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
