I notice that some Venture's (e.g. C-GDJF pictured on Wikipedia) have a ventral fin, while most do not. Anyone know if this was a plans modification to later kits, or if it's a one-off (or few-off) for a few builders? If the former, anyone have a write-up on what motivated it and whether it was effective?
