A-65 except for rare hard to find accessory case is non electric. For no electric, wind powered generator, or total loss battery power it will work. The future is going to demand more electric power on board for communication and position notification.

I had A-65 in Champ, great little dependable engine. 30 odd years ago in Alaska I was wanting electric.

Simple sometimes has a marriage with inexpensive out of necessity. That marriage is not necessarily a monogamous one.

I am not so sure if you compare actual firewall forward package weight...but I started another thread rather than hash that out here. :p

Yes I have an educated guess about the weight and less $ = more weight. But significantly less $ for very modest amount of weight. And as a bonus for less $ you get redundancy with a modest weight gain. 61.31 {(I) EXCEPTIONS} 2 B.

Grant Cunnig was the build of this one, it was the Ogden Utah airport for many years, one "airport" character after commenting in it looking like an extra large Mosquito planned on hanging a fake female mosquito proboscis on it as a April Fools joke. And no I was not that person

I kinda like it, the nosewheel seems more in line with the boxy shapes used in the airplane. Kind of looks like it could have been in one of those early WWII drone programs.
