in 1970's ian hamilton of wings australia hangliding built a javilin underslung crossbar glider 100 % double surface glider which was as far as you can go in hangliding and so up' comet built a glider plan form which revolutionised the way we made them until now but i am saying there is still a way to go useing underslung cross bars for a convex undersurface to lower the camber and pitching moment and reflex for a higher span higher glide higher aspect ratio but it costs millions now to change gliders so this comes under homebuilt and just slinging the cross bars under ......
