Lohner nr 1 1910.jpgThis one reminds me of Deconstructive Architecture or Russian Constructivism. Not sure if it ever flew. It could also be this chap travelled to the future, saw a Soviet Mig and tried to replicate it?
169.jpgThis one, with its 50hp, never did get off the ground. Shocker.

163.jpgThis one is all steel. I'd like to see this one in production. As chill and dapper as the two gents look, this was a military plane.

11.jpgThis is the 1912 Bellanca mentioned in another thread. Reminds me of a) The Mulholland Legal Eagle and b) the Airbike.

42-ID_Challenge_042_cover_600.jpg This is like a flying city. But wait! The next one is a Flying House, meant to have 8 wings and carry 100 people...

06.jpg Imagine a flying hotel, a Marriot flying around...

141.jpg Right out of a film - Aerostato Santa Cruz / Dirigível Santa Cruz of José do Patrocínio of 1901.

The designer said it was a new idea of using positive pressure on top. Instead of the usual negative pressure.
Everyone laughed.
