I have been looking at a lot of kits, LSA, and GA planes. Lately I have been narrowing them down to the Kitfox SuperSport with a Rotax 912 engine. I have looked at Zenith Aircraft, and also the RANS lineup as well as a host of others.
Here is what (I think) I want in an airplane.
1. Safety
2. Affordable -This is not an inexpensive habit, but I want it affordable for a non-millionaire Joe averager person.
3. Easy to build and a plane that I can actually finish.
4. FUN TO FLY
5. Something that can be put on floats later
6. Something that I can store at home if need be.
7. Reasonable cost of ownership.
Any suggestions on other aircraft? Insights? advise?
