Apologies if this is old news.

I just followed a Google search to the RotaryEng.net site, and the domain seems to now be defunct. Sometimes this is just an oversight on the part of the domain owner, sometimes it is more serious.

Content there is still findable via the Wayback Machine archive (most recent snapshot of the site, Dec 2019), but it's not as easy to access.

I learned a lot from Paul and his site. We've all got strong opinions on various things, him too, but he has been a longtime and strong proponent of the Wankel for aviation use.

I agree that site was the bomb, yo. Guy knew his stuff. Scrape a copy of the site before wayback dumps all the images.

Other than setting up an empty forum, most of the articles (aka the gold mine) is only available vie the Internet Time Machine. If you use it, donate.

Just to solve the mystery Mr Lamar passed away 2 years ago. His son wanted to keep the site alive but may not have had the ability to do so.

His son does/reply to emails from the site but I last spoke to him a year ago.

He really wants to honor his father and he realizes that there is a ton of knowledge about the rotary posted by his father, but it takes time and money to run a web site.
