Hi all, I'm about to start dismantling an Avid aircraft that belonged to a friend of mine. Sadly, he passed away several months ago. Because he was the listed builder, his widow is worried about liability issues so she is going to deregister the plane and I will help her dispose of the parts. The plane had about 190 hrs. on it, and was last flown in the fall. A new 65 HP 3203 Hirth engine had just been installed then, and between the break in and 4 flights, there is 5.2 hrs on the engine. Nothing wrong with the aircraft or engine, it is a long wing (STOL). Let me know if there is any interest in any parts or pieces of the plane. Trailer for sale as well. Thanks JImChuk
