I found this on the web. A stewart S51-d that had an ignition system failure while on short final. It happened in 2008. Fortunately the pilot survived. Why bring this up? Because in all the discussions of auto conversions I don't recall much discussion of the ignition system.

What kind of systems are used on most auto conversions?
