This is directed at other cheapskates on this forum, wondering how to cut the cost of learning to fly. I know that at least one of you (looks at a certain female forumite), are pondering skipping any training and teaching yourssomewhat shocked at the $750 cost for ground school, I googled, and found a free online ground school:

I tried the linked test before reading anything and managed 90%, despite a browser glitch giving me only 2 1/2 minutes to do it. I could do better, but I don't want to shell out $750 to do so, that's nearly 4 hours of instructed flight time, or about 20 used VJ24s...
