Mentioned in another thread... Figure I'll ask opinions.

If you search a certain website - that sells everything known to man produced in a certain offshore economy that everyone loves to hate.

You'll find some amazing prices on raw composite materials.

I ordered some composite honeycomb cores, a roll of 30k fabric, and a roll of 2" carbon tape. The price is pretty much in the too good to be true range.

Of course it's been a month and nothing, but that's pretty normal, I'll get worried in November if it's still MIA.

Anyone have any experience with any of these products? Any qa/qc issues to watch for/check? I picked these up to try some things I'd read about but didn't want to dump insane $ into as educational.

Figure we should have a place to discuss these materials as some of us experiment.

I'll post the individual supplier and some pics when I actually have them.
