Hello! I'm a new ultralight pilot. I finished my Quicksilver MX Sprint this past fall and have been flying since then (until now in ski gloves and a down jacket--thank you warmer weather!) I live in Durham NC and have been flying out of Ron's Ultralight Field just north of Pittsboro NC. I work in Jacksonville NC during the week so I really only get to fly on the weekends when the weather is good. Currently I am the only plane flying out of my airstrip so I'm a bit lonely. I was wondering if there was anybody else flying out of un-marked strips in the area? Or, in the Jacksonville area--I would love to find a small strip I could occasionally fly out of during the week!

Thanks!
