I've toyed with the idea of setting up a pair of noise cancelling earbuds for comm use, but I'm afraid that their noise cancelling feature will not be able to handle the high noise levels in an a/c. Even some over-the ear aviation noise cancelling headsets can struggle in louder a/c.

So, has anyone or their passenger tried any active (electronic) noise cancelling earbuds in light/experimental a/c? Which model(s) and what was your experience?
