Sorry if this is such a rudimentary question.

I've seen vintage aircraft with no electrical system have a portable GPS. Is this running on internal battery?

Is it possible to have an auxiliary power port in the panel for accessories like GPS?

Would a car charger/cigarette lighter power port siphon power directly off the Mags? Would it then need an inverter?
