My name is Hakan and I joined the forum to find information and to get comments and feedback from all the builders out there.
I am an aerospace engineer. I am Swedish, however I moved to the US in 1997 and also obtained my US citizenship.

I am designing my own aircraft, It is a very ambitious project. It is a tailless 2 seater pusher and I am currently working on the preliminary design, such as Computational Fluid Dynamics (neutral point, hinge moments, trim conditions, overall flow etc) structural layouts, weight and balance, performance etc.

I have been fascinated by tailless aircraft and flying wings for about 20-25 years, and obtained quite a bit of knowledge over the years on the subject.

I wanted to work out all the nitty gritty aero details before I start building it, as since it is a tailless/flying wing design, it has it's fair share of details to work out in order to make sure that handling and stalls are ok.

The powerplant choices I am looking into are:
1. Lycoming O-360-A1A
2. LOM M332C

I built a 1/5 R/C model that I have flow several times and tried out different CG locations and so f ar it flies great.

I also own a Cessna Cardinal that has been modified as much as possible in order to increase the performance. It has an STC for 180hp and my cruise speed at 10,000ft is around 130ktas with full tanks and 2 people.
