Hi all, not been active on here in a while as i've been preoccupied with life! gone through a messy break up but i've now moved out and have started a new business venture with a friend. Both being joiners, (and both studying aero engineering simultaneously) we've rented a workshop to begin making bespoke furniture, primarily from oak. The best bit about this, is that our new workshop is at Errol Aerodrome, an ex RAF base, and i can taxi my (yet to be built) plane straight from the workshop to the runway. 
It's going to take us a few months to get set up with equipment and get the cash flow in a positive direction, but then it's time to get building!
The plan is to continue building the Himax, and considering amphibious floats but not looked into the viability of this yet.
