Hi all,
Just a quick note to introduce myself.
I am 41 years old, and am seriously considering building a biplane. My dream plane is a two holer, WWI style biplane, with a vw engine. So far it is looking like the Flitzer Schwalbe, as that is the only one I have found so far. It is TINY, but a vw can't be hauling too much weight around.
My father was a pilot, military and civil, so I grew up around airplanes my whole life. Funny, but I am not even licensed yet(GASP!) but I will take care of that very soon.
My ten year old son wants me to build a jet fighter, but hey, a little disappointment might do him some good, lol
