Hi everyone, I just took possession of a Piel CP605 Super Diamant. It is about 85% complete (covered and painted, but no engine, electronics, etc).

Been doing a lot of research and am pretty nervous about taking over the project but am very excited. A lot of small tasks are still required: building leading edge wing tanks, wing to body fairings, h-stab to body fairings, brakes, finding and possibly rebuilding and engine, etc.

I know the Emeraude was quite a popular airplane but there sure isn't much information out there on the Diamant. I will be snooping around here and probably asking lots of questions (after exhausting the search function of course).

Looking forward to spending time on here.
Rob
