Hello everybody,

I am an aeronautical engineer living in the Northeast U.S. My interest lies in unpowered aircraft, flying wings, and ultralightweight flying machines--like the ones Paul Maccready has built. My flying experience is 65 - 100 hours in flex-wing hang gliders. Also I flew a couple hours in a Cessna 152 and in a DeHaviland Dove at National Test Pilot School years ago. No, I haven't experience building any type of aircraft. (The closest experience I got to flying an ultralight airplane was getting towed aloft in my hang glider behind an ultralight tug.) I considered building a Mitchell B10, but decided I'd rather spend my time flying than building. However, I may end up having to build a glider in order to have one to fly. C'est la vie.
