Hello All
Apart from Lycoming, Continental & Rotax is there any other engine manufacturers who offer certified aircraft engines (Similar certifications as of the three mentioned). I would like to know if any of such engine are available in a 100hp to 150hp range. please let me know if there are any certified diesel engines as well which are not costlier than the above three engines.
There is a helicopter called Aerocopter AK1-3 which has a Sabaru engine, But surprisingly they are not sold as kits, they are sold fully assembled. How is it possible to sell a ready to fly helicopter with an engine which is not certified for aircraft application?
