Need Help - Welding Rod for 5052 Aluminum Gas Tanks

The guy at the welding shop only had a aluminun flux core TIG rod and didn't know what I should use for 5052 alloy.

Can anyone please tell me what welding rod works best for O/A welding 5052H32 .040 Aluminum sheet for wing tanks?
I'll most likely use some rivets to preassemble it and then weld the seams and rivets.

I also want to cut down the existing main tank turning it into a 1.5 gallon header tank and will need to weld the seams, but I don't know what alloy it is.

I saw mention of Dura Fix which seems like a wonder product, but looks more like soldering, is this a consideration?
