Hello, I just got a challenger 1 and need to know how to remove the wings and what's the best way to transport 'em wings on a flat trailer so they are not ruined before it flies.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks

To remove the wings, it helps to have able body people assist with the removal part. All they need to do is support the wings while detached from the fuselage. Tough job by yourself. To transport, I have carried wings flat, on a trailer sitting on foam board insulation, in racks where they were supported by a sling and other racks where the wing was vertical and supported along it's length by the spar. Treat them like your grandma's fine china and should be okay.
