One can buy 16 to 18 guage mandrel bends in any material from a plethora of sources (I have a bunch of it) but that stuff is way too heavy for an aircraft exhaust. Anyone have a good source for 22-24 guage mandrel bends in 1.75 diameter? I suppose I could just call Vetterman and see where he gets it, but why would they help if I'm bypassing their services to roll my own?

I've used Burns Stainless and Columbia River in the past, not sure if cheaper than Vetterman though. Not sure they go below .049 wall. Seen lots of .035 eventually crack down the road so I never use that any more.

I'm at a loss.....Usually use the same people Ross recommended. They only appear to have 18 gauge..

My neighbor just got a new Vetterman system for his RV 10 and it is .035 wall. I guess that's the new normal.

    Thanks for the link.

You might think comical as did I initially but I have a friend who welds up his
exhausts using stainless bathroom grab bars as material sources. He is a great welder and sections out the curved or straight parts as needed and welds them together. Home Depot would probably be a good source.
