Hi Group,

as some of you may know, I'm building an RJ.03 IBIS, a wooden two-seater canard airplane.
After our relocation to northern Germany, I had to renovate a double garage and turn it into a suitable workshop.
Under menu item "Progress" and submenu item "Project preparations" you can find pages with pictures and narrative about what I did to turn my garage into a workshop.

I'm still unsure about how to treat the concrete floor. Somehow I'd like to isolate the workshop from the cold floor and prevent moisture to evaporate through it into the workshop. Any ideas?

take care,

Hans

What I did was paint the concrete with a two part epoxy floor paint and that pretty much controlled any excess humidity. Next I went to the carpet store and bought some carpet remnants with padding attached. I just put them where ever I stand the most. Works pretty good down to about -30C, any lower than that, I stay in the house.:p:
Maybe Santa will install floor heat for me?:gig: :D
