Howdy all !
Here's a Pic of the trim spring adjuster I made up out'a stuff I had laying arround
Thought you might be interested ...
it was simple to make and it works well.
though on the initial haing test when adjusting the tension It bent the bottom of the hinge where I made a cut out in the hinge to clear the thredded rod, this could have been prevented by just off setting the adjustment rod 1/2" to clear the hinge entirely.... now i have to weld the plate to the hinge to cure the problem .
....
For what its worth ....
Now I can adjust the trim in flight !
