I just got home bringing with me the certification paper and signed log book! N13WK is now a real airplane. I only have to do 25 hours in my practice area and then I can go and fly wherever!

The next thing is put it all back together and then get ME ready to fly it! I have a Pitts owner friend who will do the first couple of flights. He has lots more experience.

Thanks to everyone here for answers to questions and lots of moral support and encouragement.

    Hi,
Very good question Beej. Right now it is all white with a red spinner. The spinner was a freebe.

I have thought about it a lot but I haven't decided yet. I have looked at a bunch of Pitts, even surfing the pics at airliners.net for any and all ideas. It is a tough decision.

One possibility may be have my brother help me. He owns a company that builds comercial barbecue pits and has big flame decals and logo decals. Plus he has a degree in design.

I don't think he needs the advertising but who knows, I may be soon flying the "Ole Hickory Pits Pitts".

Atta Boy Wally!! Congratulations. I know how you feel to get the paper work done......was easier for me to build the darn airplane than to figure all tha stuff out. Be safe, I know your going to have a blast!
