Stumbled onto this and thought it might be of interest. It demonstrates that you can do other shop stuff with a Tig. Mostly I thought of it because the other day their were comments about tack welding a fuselage with a Mig welder and then having a pro welder do the welding for you. Another comment was made that trying to Tig over the top of a Mig tack wasn't good. Mig welds tend to be harder when cooled than Tig welds. Anyway, true or not, you can set the Eastwood Tig to spotweld and do some other neat things. Anybody who has any other Mig uses might want to add them.
