    Here is an off shoot of the link you posted. Lookslike there is already one in an airplane, although not direct drive. Not sure if it's flown yet. Don't have a minute to run it down. Maybe someone else has some info.

    Spoke to this young man by phone. 125hp at 3000 rpm is impressive. Thats at the wheels. Minus drive train? Who knows? This is on a 2.0 The 2.4 may be even more impressive. #13 (permalink) NCStateRedline

    On my current set up (see sig) I made 220 tq and 125 hp @ 3k, with the dyno operator possibly still rolling into the throttle at that point.

    Minus a parasitic drivetrain[​IMG] loss of a liberal 18%, you'd see your 150 hp at that RPM. I'm not even sure that it was in PE at that point, lol
