I was informed that there was a possible "mixed metal corrosion problem" with monel rivets in aluminum. I did find a reference about boats but none about aircraft.

Here is a lengthy thread on blind rivets (no discussion of that) http://www.eng-tips.com/viewthread.cfm?qid=15349.

I also checked MIL-HDBK-5K & Cherry install manual and did not find a reference as regards limitations of my CR3523 or NAS9307M that I am using.

If anyone knows of "Aircraft" limitations of Monel Aircraft Rivets in Aluminum please respond.
